Generosity – it’s a word that is popular but we humans can learn about real generosity from our pets and animals. They give unconditionally. They don’t brag about it, they don’t think its anything special, or meritorious. Pets and animals instinctively know who needs love and how to give it.
Finding a new home for our kitties has been a wonderful experience. What?
It was hard to make the decision to find a new home for our kitties – when we made the decision we were heartbroken and then it all changed and became wonderful. We are not rehoming our kitties – that happens when pets are abandoned and in need of rescue. We are gifting our kitties – they are filled with unconditional love and they will fill their new home with their abundance.
Our kitties’ mother was abandoned and gave birth to our kitties and their siblings in a neighbor’s guest room. They were loved as babies and gifted to us at 8 weeks old. We love our kitties. They brought joy to our home. They have only know love – we have loved them and so has our our gentle, happy dog. Finding a new home for them was guided by one thing – that they should continue to only know love and give love.
We are moving to SW Florida as soon as we sell our home and we will be living in an RV for an undermined amount of time. The RV is 30 feet and trying to keep our indoor kitties confined in such a small place with two humans and an 83 pound dog is just unrealistic and, frankly, unfair to the kitties and so we made the difficult decision to find them a new home. And then a wonderful lady came into our lives. She lost her husband last year and her world darkened – she was devastated and sad. Although she is moving forward with her life she feels lonely and her home is empty. She is active and has many friends but she still comes home to an empty house and a heavy heart. Clearly our kitties’ life plan is to give unconditional love to her and make a difference.
A mutual friend introduced us to this gracious lady. She came over to our house to interview the kitties – a notebook filled with questions in hand and as we talked she fell in love with them and they with her. Tomorrow we will bring them to her home and they will fill her world. Our kitties will make a difference in her life in a way that people, money, activities, and other “things” could never do. Her home will no longer be empty. The kitties will love her and she will love them.
This song from Drake sums up how generosity changes the world: God’s Plan https://youtu.be/xpVfcZ0ZcFM
Drake is amazing and generous and uses his money and influence to make a difference in people’s lives. The song inspires generosity in whatever way possible. Generosity is everywhere if you are open to seeing it.
Gifting our kitties to this wonderful lady is perfect. Their natural generosity and abundant love will make a difference. The kitties will be loved and doted on like never before and they will love this wonderful lady and fill her home and her world with love, energy, and hope. We are not rehoming our kitties – we are gifting our kitties so they can continue their life plan.
